“India is a vast country with a plethora of regional, cultural traditions. I believe that local museums like Prachina, where nuanced representations of culture become possible, will feature prominently in India's future cultural landscapes. Culture in regions is a part of the transforming but living traditions which, when presented in a museum, can abolish the polarization between the past and the present.
